SEEKING A TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s CDL Class B License, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to jobsites. 
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Skills Desired: strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills.

Required Competencies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Picking up wood from John W. Field Tree Service, Inc. job sites.
• Hauling logs for other tree companies as time permits.
• Conducting routine maintenance on the log truck.
• Maintaining daily inspection logs.
• Recording mileage and fuel purchases for quarterly tax reporting.
• Ensuring any mechanical issues (that fall beyond the scope of routine maintenance) are fixed in a timely manner by a reputable mechanic. 

Other items:

As a CDL driver you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing as outlined by Mass DOT (Department of Transportation) and the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier SafetyAdministration). Testing positive or refusing to be tested will result in termination of employment and/or, in the case of applicants, denial of employment.

Benefits include: Health insurance after 90 days (50% paid by employer), participation in 401K after 1000 hours of service and upon eligibility, Safe Harbor Match & discretionary Profit sharing.

SEEKING CRANE OPERATOR

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s CDL Class B License, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to jobsites. 
• Must have Massachusetts 1B2A hoisting license
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Skills Desired: strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills.
• Must be willing to be enrolled in a random drug testing pool
