Crane Rental Services in Pittsfield, MA and beyond

1. We are happy to look at the project to determine if the site is acceptable for crane access and set-up.  
2. If the weather seems unsafe/undesirable John W. Field Tree Service reserves the right to cancel. Potential for wind and lightning need to be considered when determining if crane rental should be cancelled. If we feel that the weather is unsafe for crane work, we reserve the right to cancel up until 6:00a.m. on the day of the work.  
3. Renters are responsible for any damage caused to slings/rigging by their climber(s)or groundperson(s). 
4. It is the Renter’s responsibility to review and discuss the crane dimensions and load charts.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us prior to the rental. 
5. Our Operator has the final say on what can be done with respect to travel, access, set-up and crane operations on the job site. Please acknowledge their experience and expertise and respect their decisions. Our crane operator reserves right to cancel a rental or refuse access/set-up/job on site at time of rental. Operator’s word is final.  

Other considerations: 

We need to know at the time of booking the complete address of the job site. This is essential to ensure we have the necessary permits, escort vehicles and/or bonds required by the town. 

Prior to the rental, we need to have a current Certificate of Insurance on file and Hold Harmless Agreement signed. The Certificate of Insurance must identify John W. Field Tree Service, Inc. as an additional insured under Contractor’s General Liability policy for the duration of the work period.
